Privacy Policy

The short version

• Without an account, your genograms are saved only in your own browser. We never receive them.
• With an account, genograms you choose to save to the cloud are stored on our servers so you can open them on another device.
• When you use AI drawing, the text or image you submit is sent to our AI provider to build the genogram. We do not store that text or image, and it is not used to train models.
• Use initials or codes instead of real names for client work. Genogram Maker is not a HIPAA-covered service and does not claim HIPAA compliance.

What we collect

1. Account details: your email address and name when you sign up, or the details your Google account shares when you sign in with Google.
2. Saved genograms: only the genograms you save while signed in, and any read-only share links you create.
3. Payment records: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
4. AI usage counts: the time, mode and token counts of each AI request, tied to your account or a one-way hash of your IP address, so we can apply free limits. Not the content.
5. Analytics: pages visited and actions such as opening the editor or clicking export, through Google Analytics. Your genogram content is never included.

What we don't do

• We don't sell personal data.
• We don't read or analyze your genograms.
• We don't keep the text or images you send to AI after the request finishes.

Third parties

• Anthropic processes AI requests.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and database.
• Google provides sign-in and analytics.

Deleting your data

Delete a saved genogram from the editor at any time. To delete your account and everything stored with it, email support@creategenogram.com and we will do it within 30 days.
