Questions

Is the genogram maker really free?+

Yes. Drawing, the automatic layout, every symbol and a watermarked PNG are free with no account. You only pay to remove the watermark, export SVG/PDF and use AI without limits.

Where is my family information stored?+

Your genogram is saved only in your own browser. When you use AI drawing, the text you type is sent to our AI provider to build the genogram and is not used to train models. For client work, use initials instead of full names.

Which genogram symbols does it use?+

The standard McGoldrick–Gerson notation: squares for males, circles for females, an X for deceased, slashes for separation and divorce, dashed lines for adoption, and colored line styles for emotional relationships.

How accurate is the AI?+

It only uses facts you give it and leaves anything missing blank, but it can misread an ambiguous sentence. Always check the result against your notes; every person and line stays editable.

Can I put it into Word or Google Docs?+

Yes. Export a PNG and insert it as a picture. With the Semester Pass you can also export SVG, which stays sharp at any size, or print to PDF.

What if it doesn't work for my assignment?+

Email us within 7 days of buying and, as long as you haven't exported a watermark-free file yet, we'll refund the Semester Pass in full.
