Terms of Service

Using Genogram Maker

Genogram Maker is a tool for drawing genograms and ecomaps. You can use the editor for free without an account. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Your content

You own the genograms you create. You are responsible for having permission to record the family information you enter, and for removing or coding identifying details where your school, employer or professional rules require it.

AI features

AI drawing turns your description or image into a draft. It can misread ambiguous text or images, so check every result against your source material. AI features only draw and describe diagrams; they do not write assignments for you. Follow your institution's rules on AI use.

Plans and payment

• Free: the full editor, all symbols, watermarked PNG export and a limited number of AI draws.
• Semester Pass ($19, one-time): 120 days of watermark-free PNG, SVG and PDF export, unlimited AI drawing and editing, and ecomap export. It does not renew.
• Pro ($59 per year): everything in the Semester Pass plus photo and scan import, for 12 months. It renews yearly until you cancel.

Prices are in US dollars. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to harass anyone, to store information you have no right to hold, to get around free limits with multiple accounts or automated requests, or to resell access. We may suspend accounts that do.

No professional advice

Genogram Maker is a drawing tool. It does not provide clinical, legal or genetic advice, and its output is not a clinical assessment.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Keep your own copies of important work. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll say so on the site before it takes effect.
